“Av Emmaboda för
Emmaboda” (Of Emmaboda for Emmaboda), Emmaboda bibliotek, Emmaboda, SE / Foto, Video, Installation 2016 A homage to the normal, if there is
something that can be called that. I have with my camera
collected on site. My interest about the sites that aren’t in
the center of attention, the sites, the city, the places,
and areas that haven’t that much coverage in media that
often. The constant flux of triviality’s, the everyday
in which we all live in. Te weekday drama of
nothingness (almost) is exiting and is a story in it self. In
Emmaboda I have been taking 3212 photographs that I have created
one piece of work that are the center, It represent
all the photos in different way as a video piece. The
abstraction of the real, the numbers re-created into patterns
that together creates more than the single shoots. The
selection of photographs is a representation of how I
see Emmaboda, what is for me the essence of humans
together in a town called Emmaboda. The traces of humanity
that have so many stories to tell by themselves as well
as all of them together, this is my documentation of human
and the environment that she creates. This is an
investigation of what is, where and how, the traces of
times past and time to come. But its also my way of
illustrate the everyday and its heroes.
